Baptism Party in Bay Ridge

baptism party bay ridge brooklyn

A lot of people hold Baptism, Communion and Confirmation parties around the church where the sacrament is administered because it is easy for all the guests to find a spot once in Bay Ridge. If you are looking to rent an empty party room and bring your own food – see here.

Here are some restaurants that are used for Baptism parties:

  • Hunter’s Steak House – it’s near St. Pat’s Church – a lot of room, good food and a private room. They can do a buffet as well.

  • Greenhouse Cafe – 7717 3rd Avenue – very reasonably priced – they have three packages. Atrium in the back for small groups, larger groups use the side room. I’ve had several parties at the Greenhouse Cafe and everyone likes it here

  • Gino’s – good Italian food – everyone loves this place

  • Cebu has different menu options in several price ranges. Around $30 a person – $28?

  • Vesuvios – reasonable price – a lot of food.

  • Ariang – good if you have kids and adults because the chef performs while he cooks – Ariang has an upstairs private room – inexpensive

  • Sofias – a bit more expensive, but very nice

  • Giacomos – beautiful place, a bit more expensive, good Italian food

  • Grotto – new place on 3rd Avenue

  • Brunch at Wicked Monk or O’Sullivan’s. The Wicked Monk has good food and a nice laid back atmosphere for a party – no private room, but they do put the tables together in the back
  • Lockyard – Cocktail party menu. Tommy has a few types of menus -reasonably priced. There’s a lot of room here so if you are having entertainment it is nice. Can hold 50 people.  Backyard has an awning/tent and heat lamps when it gets a little chilly.

  • Bridgeview Diner – reasonably priced, back room, not as fancy

  • Fushimi – My family has a lot of people who don’t eat sushi so it’s not good for our family parties, but I know some people who had a great time there.

    In Dyker Heights:

    • Mama Raos
    • La Sorrentina
    • Rex Manor – 60th Street and 11th Avenue – has three different size rooms
    • Meze – Greek Food – 6601 – 13th Avenue
    • Dyker Beach Golf Course – larger, fancier, more $
    • Gennero’s has valet parking and is good for a larger party

    In Sunset Park

New Corners – reasonably priced – old Italian style food

    In Marine Park

Buckley ‘s on Ave S and Nostrand

Staten Island Restaurants that we went to for Christening Parties

  • Zest Restaurant 977 Bay Street

  • Bocelli’s

  • Enoteca Maria

  • Angelina’s

  • Da Noi

  • Bassilio Inn – good Italian food – near the bridge

marlene
