18th Avenue Feast 2012
Everyone keeps asking, “Is there going to be a feast on 18th Avenue this year?” or emailing and asking me to tell them if they should come in for the Feast of Santa Rosalie. THE FEAST IS ON!
Aug. 23 to Sept. 2nd 2012 on 18th Avenue between 67th to 75th streets See updated pictures here.
The Feast of San Gennaro will take place in Little Italy for 11 days starting Thursday, September 13, and continuing through Sunday, September 23, 2012 so Italians will still have a feast in NYC.

Grazie….that’s all I can say! The feast of Santa Rosalia has been such a wonderful event for so long! It is a part of Brooklyn, Italians and Italian Americans, and I believe for just about EVERYONE in general. It was devistating to lose it last year.
I, and so many others (I can’t begin to tell you how many others) will be thrilled to know for sure that the feast is ON for this year and should be EVERY YEAR!!!

Hooray!!!! We missed it last year. Can’t wait. It is one of the best feasts I attended. Good music, good food and family atmosphere.

So sad to hear it’s still on. I was happy to hear there will be no more feast. It gets more boring each year.
