Car Jacking at Gunpoint in Bay Ridge
Update: No information came out after this. A comment left below states that this wasn’t a carjacking – it was a dispute over drugs.
This afternoon, the Citizen App reported that there was a carjacking by gunpoint around 3:00 pm on 67th Street and Colonial Roa. No one has been caught yet.
It must have been terribly scary for the person who lost their car. : (

This was not a carjacking, but a dispute between two people over drugs. Perhaps update this post to reflect what really happened. This can be confirmed with 68th Precinct

Thanks for the update Donna. I didn’t see anything on this. Usually I link to the story in the news.
I have tried checking on situations with the NYPD before and they will tell me that they can’t give any details because it is under investigation. They won’t confirm what someone close to a crime scene saw or said either.
