Gymnastics Classes
1) Brooklyn Gymnastic Center 1635 Bath Avenue (718) 232-6444 Classes – your child can take one free class.
They offer a payment plan. Classes start in September. Registration starts after school starts. Regulation equipment – Structured Classes which teach technique. They can compete on the gymnastics team as well.
2 years old have 45 minute classes with an obstacle course warm up, circle time for stretches, trampoline, balance beam, the bar – Class with the parent (Mommy and Me)
Three year old to teens – 1 hour long classes

4) Gotham Gymnastics – 315 Douglass Street in Brooklyn Website
They have classes for ages 1 – 10 years old. Boys too.
Classes start the second week of September and go until January. Then they have a Spring session (and a Summer session as well)

Rhythmic Gymnastics
1) Match Point – 271 Shell Road Gravesend, Brooklyn (718) 769-0001, They have Rhythmic Gymnastics (see video) Mommy and Me classes, toddler, age 3-teen classes – This is a large fitness center – ask for a free day pass so you can try it out.
2) Lido Isadora Sports School on Nostrand Avenue also has rhythmic gymnastics for girls ages 4 to 18 years old.
3) Brooklyn Gymnastics and Dance -Rhythmic gymnastics – Brighton One Tower 3048 Brighton 1st Street 2nd Floor – *very* reasonable prices (cheaper) Annual membership. See costs and schedule of classes
4) Nova Gymnastics – 3701 – Surf Avenue. They have rhythmic gymnastics, as well as artistic gymnastics.
Tumbling and Acro Classes
1) Bay Ridge Ballet has a tumbling class.

3) Beyond Dance 8717 3rd Avenue -(718) 921-0655 Dance school which has an acro class with mat gymnastics and dancing. Tumbling classes for age 3+
4) Gymboree – 1270 Bay Ridge Pkwy (off 13th Avenue) (718) 983-1280 For children 12 months – 2.5 years. You can book a free class on the site (purple box). Many people start children here, then go to Little Gym as their child gets old and then move on to Brooklyn Gymnastics for more structured classes. ($134 per a month includes 1 gymnastics class per week and 1 Lego class per month plus one practice session a month – which is an extra class
6. Brighton Kids Club – 3069 Brighton and 1st Street Brooklyn 718-942-5555 Gymnastics classes are on Mondays at 5pm, Thursday’s at 5pm and Saturdays at 11am. Trial classes are $10, and then each individual class is $20 when you pay monthly.
