Retired NYPD Officer Fired Gun in Underground Garage on 101st Street in Bay Ridge

Around 5:30 am, a 57-year-old police office got into a verbal match with a 54-year-old man in a garage under a building on 101st Street and 4th Avenue in Bay Ridge. (Story here)

Channel 7 wrote that man lunged at the officer and punched him in the head. (Something is missing from this story – why did the man lunge at that former NYPD officer….what happened??)
Councilman Brannan wrote that the man pulled a knife on the former NYPD officer. None of the articles included that.

Where did the Councilman get that information? A weapon changes the story.
Brannan wrote that the police think the dispute was over a parking spot.
This article said that the police are investigating if the men knew each other before this incident.
We are lucky that the police officer’s aim wasn’t good – he fired the gun and it hit a car in the parking lot. Councilman Brannan wrote above that he shot himself in the hand.
Adam from Loudlabs said the officer was hit with a bullet in his pinky……Something is being left out – there had to be a struggle or something because someone wouldn’t shoot themself in the hand.
The police officer was taken to the hospital. The other man was taken into custody by the NYPD.
Tonight, Adam from Loudlabs shared this video
