1) St. Ephrem’s Friendship Club meets 10:30 am – 2:00 pm. All seniors 55+ Play cards, bingo, join the 50/50, bring your friends.
2) Job Fair at 1561 Bedford Avenue from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
3) Community Board 10 Communications and Public Relations Committee. The Committee will begin work on a Comprehensive Board Member Guide.
4) BINGO Night at Schnitzel Haus at 7319 – 5th Avenue starting at 7:00 pm.
5) South Brooklyn Foundry at 6909 – 3rd Avenue is having a Paint and Sip at 7:30 pm.
6) Friends of New Utrecht – Daniel Johnson will talk about NY Ferries

Wednesday, May 15th
1) Adult Coloring and Puzzles at the Bay Ridge Library at 7223 Ridge Blvd. at 73rd Street from 2:00 – 3:00 pm on the second floor. Community members are encouraged to join us for an hour of relaxation and socializing as we color, draw and complete puzzles together.

Thursday, May 16th
1) If you are in Dyker Heights and need help from the Councilwoman, her staff is at the library today from 1:00 – 5:00 pm.

3) Swamp in the City – a Cajun and Creole Music Festival in Redhook, Brooklyn from May 16th – May 19th. (Get tickets here)

Sunday, May 19th
1) Norwegian Parade – May Day (Website) The parade starts at 1:30 pm on 80th Street and 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge. They turn right on Bay Ridge Parkway, then they make a left on 5th Avenue to 67th Street. Finally they head up to the Park to the review stand between 6th and 7th Avenues.
2) GayRidge reads Ace by Angela Chen at 2:00 at Lockyard.

Bay Ridge Memorial Day Parade – This parade starts at 11:00 am on 3rd Avenue and 78th Street. They walk down 3rd Avenue until Marine Avenue and make a left up to 4th Avenue. They turn right and go to John Paul Jones Park on 101st Street and 4th Avenue for the service and 21 gun salute. **Come cheer for the veteran’s – they love it when people clap and cheer for them! **
