Free Hockey in Brooklyn for 8-12 Year Olds
CITYPARKS STREET HOCKEY – free program for children ages 8 – 12 October 2 – November 8 Meets Weekly
City Parks Foundation, in partnership with the New York Islanders, is offering free, weekly instructional street hockey program for kids ages 8-12 in local neighborhood parks. Youth will learn basic hockey skills such as stick-handling, passing, shooting and core life skills, such as safety, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Sunset Park, 7th Ave., between 41st and 42nd Streets, Brooklyn
Tuesdays, 3:30-4:30pm and 4:30-5:30pm
St. John’s Park, 1251 Prospect Pl., Brooklyn
Wednesdays, 3:30-4:30pm and 4:30-5:30 pm
