Update 4/13: Chester is Back Home

Update 4/13: Chester was found this morning in the family’s backyard in a hole. The family checked there before, but this morning he was there! Hooray! Chester is a very friendly cat. Chester has only one partially working eye.

87-Year-Old Gravesend Woman Crushed By Car

This is a very sad story. An 87-year-old woman was crushed by her own car yesterday in Gravesend. (Story here) RIP. Prayers for this woman’s family, friends and neighbors.

18th Avenue Accident – Five People Went to the Hospital

Five people were sent to the hospital tonight after an accident on 18th Avenue and 76th Street around 7:15 pm tonight. (See overhead photo and story here) (See Citizen App video) An 89-year-old Brooklynite had a medical episode which caused the accident. (See here) Prayers that all four people are okay.

Graffiti at JJ Carty Park – Open Two Weeks

JJ Carty Park has only been open for two weeks since it had a park makeover. This park on Ft. Hamilton Parkway and 95th Street looks beautiful, but people have already begun to write graffiti on it. Free Palestine and Gaza have already been written on the park.
