There is a NYC Comptroller Forum on Thursday, February 6th from 7:00pm – 9:30 at Brooklyn Law School- 250 Joralemon Street in Brooklyn and on Zoom.

Coney Island voted against demapping the area for the casino. (Info here) Councilman Justin Brannan, the council person for the Coney Island district has the final vote. He’s running for NYC Comptroller this year.

Now is your chance to ask Councilman Brannan if he’s going give away the streets of Coney Island to the billionaire casino developer, or if he is going to stand with the community and protect Coney Island (he hasn’t stood with them because he was lobbied – See here.)

Register online to attend in person or on Zoom (here).

For those participating on Zoom, please download one of the No Casino in Coney posters from our No Casino page to use as your background. (See here)

Please note, this is not a hearing on the casino, but rather a forum where the public can hear from and question the candidates running for New York City Comptroller.

Send a loud message to Justin Brannan at the candidate’s forum – No Casino in Coney Island!
