New House Brings New Purchases
We are signing the contract on the house this week. But since the engineer visited the house yesterday and gave us the run down, I figured I’d make some lists so I can relieve my mind of it. Plus I can’t stop thinking about stuff that aren’t needs, but wants!
Needs:
1. First Alert Fire and CO monitor/alarms.
2. Hardware for the back sliding door (it’s missing right now)
3. Replacement screen for the back sliding doors (it’s torn)
4. Lock for the roof panel (there’s an alarm, but I want to put an alarm on it).
5. Replacement awning (that one is old and dry)
6. Garbage can and Recycle Bin – none were there
7. Garage Organizer because I want to do this right
8. Cauking for around windows – need to do this one Summer or Fall Day
9. Washer and dryer (it should be on wants, but I need it). There was a set in the house, but the owners are taking it with them.
10. Robin egg blue hand towels for the downstairs bathroom – the tile and sink are robin egg blue – so pretty! It’s a need because every bathroom needs coordinated towels. <wink>
Wants:
1. L shaped sofa
2. Console table for behind sofa
3. China closet
4. Schott Zwiesel Champagne glasses (I have to toast the new house, right?) I really just put this one on here to make Lee laugh. Schott Zwiesel feel as good as Riedels, but are a bit stronger so they don’t break as easy. I can verify this!
5. One lounge chair for the backyard. Because someone always likes to layout and get some sun.

yes, moving is EXPENSIVE and so is buying things for that new house! :)
